Colin Alexander Binks

Binks—Died, on the 10th inst., at Ottawa, Colin Alexander Binks, son of Mr. Thomas Binks, aged 6 years and 10 months.

According to the transcript of this obituary in the Perth Courier (newspaper), he died on May 10, 1881 aged 6 years and 10 months. However, I have to presume that the '6' should read '4' making Colin Alexander's birth year 1876. This would agree with his age of 4 years as shown in the 1881 Canada census and also sits more comfortably with his parents' marriage date of June 8, 1875.
