Alfred Henry George Barnett

Alfred was born at 6 Alma Road, Bethnal Green, on April 22, 1883.

He married Clara A*. Thomas bet. Oct-Dec 1912 in Bethnal Green.
*Probably Clara Adelaide Thomas born July-September 1886 in Mile End.
 
Alfred and Clara had a daughter, Grace C. Barnett (born Oct-Dec 1913).

He was a prisoner of war in Germany in the 1st World War, and apparently was hit in the mouth with a rifle butt and kicked down a flight of stone steps.

Alfred died aged 54, bet. Jan-March 1938 in Hackney.

Like his brother, Sidney Frederick Barnett, Alfred and his family appear to have never used the original 'Barney' family name.
