Catherine Amy Binks

Born June 20th 1874 at 19 Broad Street, Bloomsbury.

At the time of the 1891 census, she was living with her widowed father at 134 Albert Road, Peckham.

She married George Walter Southgate, a Grocer, on March 22nd 1896 at the Parish Church of Christ Church, Greenwich. George was born in Colchester, Essex between July-Sept 1873 and was the son of George Southgate (Snr), a 'Master Mariner'.

At the time of the 1901 census George (described as a Grocer's Manager) & Catherine were living at 37 Silvester Road, Dulwich with their son, George Joseph Southgate (born Bet. July - September 1897 in Finsbury).

They'd also had a daughter, Catherine Amy Southgate (born Bet. October - December 1898 in Camberwell) who'd died Bet. July - September 1899 in Camberwell).

Catherine Amy Binks died in Camberwell bet. April - June 1908 and it is believed of 'Consumption'.
