Charles Henry Binks

Charles was born on April 1, 1895 in Holborn, London. He married Alice Elizabeth Freeman (born May 21, 1898) in Saffron Walden, Essex on March 22, 1918.

Charles and Alice had two children, Gordon Charles Henry Binks (born February 12, 1920, Gerrard Street, Islington) and Alice Peggy Binks (born November 20, 1921).

Charles (or 'Charley' as he was affectionately known) worked in power stations as a boiler engineer. He died aged 41 on January 3, 1937, probably due to his exposure to asbestos materials. Alice died on October 8, 1980.
