John Rodger Binks

Born October 6, 1873 in Perth, Ontario, Canada.

During his younger years, he was a great lacrosse player and went with the GeoV Capital Lacrosse Team to play before King Edward VII. He worked at first for the Edwards Lumber Co. subsequently becoming Secretary/Treasurer of the Gatineau Power Company and subsidiaries.

The 1901 Canada census describes him as a Law Clerk earning a salary of $550.

He married Julia Wyman on September 9, 1908.

John died on November 1, 1954 and was buried at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Julia died on February 20, 1972.
