James Charles Binks
'Greyed' text below requires further investigation
James was born on January 10, 1843 and Christened at St Alphage, Greenwich, on March 5, 1843.
He was a Domestic Servant & Butler and at the time of the 1861 census was unmarried and living/working at 17 Somerset Street, Marylebone. He was employed by Henry H. Beamish, "Incumbent of Trinity Chapel".
James married Louisa Smowton (born Great Yarmouth, bet. 1844 - 1845), in Greenwich (bet. April-June 1867).
At the time of the 1891 census, James was living with Louisa and daughter, Louisa Ellen Isabella (born July-Sept 1872) at 50 Balcombe Street, Marylebone.
It appears that by the time of the 1901 census, a separation between James and Louisa may occured. James was working as a Butler at 45 Valency Lodge, Eastbury, Watford, Hertfordshire and 'married'. His wife, Louisa, was living at 5 Mill Hill Grove, Acton, Middlesex and was 'Widowed'. She was also the 'Head'.
