At the time of the 1891 census she was living with her parents at 50 Balcombe Street, Marylebone, and was employed as a Dressmaker.

She married* Charles Horace Cherrington bet. July - September 1893 in Marylebone. Charles was a Drapers Assistant and was born Bet. 1868 - 1869 in Donnington, Lincoln.

We know that Charles and Louisa had at least two children; Winifred Cherrington (born Kilburn, London Bet. January - March 1895) and Charles Arthur Cherrington (born Kilburn, London Bet. April - June 1896).

* According to the Marriage index, Louisa's name was registered as 'Louisa Ann I. Binks'. This may be an error in the index and only a study of the actual marriage certificate will determine if 'Ann' should read 'Ellen'.
